The DX160MAR is a 27.880MHz antenna designed for use on metal hull boats, where the antenna can use the metal hull as its ground plane!

The DX160MAR is covered with polyolefin and has a chrome plated 5/16" 26tpi Base
The DX160MAR is the best 27MHz marine antenna as it is long, light and very broadband.

M156-1 A robust 7mm thick antenna made with copper braid to ensure the widest possible bandwith and covered with polyolefin (Rubber) Coating

As these antennas are all 1/4 wave for the VHF Marine band they need to be mounted so that the bottom of the antenna is as close to the surface of the metal ground plane as possible

 CDB156 - VHF Marine Band - Base Antenna    
 

The CDB156 is a Ground  Inderpendant Coaxial Dipole with 3dbi gain. Providing a broad feed angle and low VSWR across the whole VHF Marine Band

This product is most suitable for Base Station or Marine Mounting situations.
The antenna is  supplied with a 500 mm Coaxial pigtail with a FME Male Connector.

A stainless steel 20 mm base tube is provided for mast mounting using worm drive clamps or u bolts.
VSWR = <1.5:1 from 156 - 162 Mhz 

Feed cables of various lengths can be made to suit any feed situation or radio connector types.
