NOTESBASE UB - This base is a universal base to suit all antennas that have a 5/16" base fitting and will suit all frequencies. PL259 - This is the standard connector for all 27MHz and 477MHz tranceivers and many other devices PN57 - This is the standard plug used in AM /FM car radios RG58CU - This is the standard coax that is used on all transceivers with a few exceptions with regard to length of coax RG58CEL - This is the low loss double sheilded cable for frequencies exceeding 500MHz RG59BU - This is the standard coax used for receivers such as in car FM radios and can be used for TV and Video RG62BU - This is the standard coax that is used primarily for very low frequencies such as AM Car radios and shortwave, it can be used with long lengths with less loss RG213 - This is recommended for all cable runs in excess of 20mtrs
27MHz CB Cables - It is best that the total length of cable going from the base of a 27MHz antenna be a multiple of 3.6mtrs ie: Be either 3.6mtrs, 7.2mtrs, 14.8mtrs etc
SOC239 - The hole must not be larger than 16mm. Remove both the collar AND the hex nut of the SOC then put the SOC on the bull bar first THEN the hex nut then the collar
